Jack Teams Up with Texpro and Style 3D to Propel Vietnam's Garment Industry into the AI Era

On August 23, 2024, Jack, in collaboration with the VITAS, partnered with Texpro and Style 3D to host the "Embracing AI and Smart Manufacturing to Accelerate Industry" summit. Executives from over 150 global brands and renowned apparel companies from China, South Korea, Vietnam, and other parts of the world gathered to discuss the development trends and cutting-edge technologies in the garment industry.


At the beginning of the conference, Mr. Jimmy, Vice President of Jack Technology, emphasized the importance of smart manufacturing in today's apparel industry during his speech. He also highlighted Jack's willingness to collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve mutual benefits and jointly support the digital and intelligent transformation of the garment industry.


Mr. Vu Duc Giang, Chairman of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association, discussed the challenges and opportunities facing the local garment industry and outlined the future development roadmap. He expressed hope that, through this conference, Vietnamese apparel companies would prioritize building smart factories and leverage Jack's expertise to achieve digital transformation.


Mr. Maple from TEXPRO, speaking on the topic of "Intelligent Manufacturing and Management in the Dyeing and Finishing Industry," shared how TEXPRO’s practices in smart production and management have not only improved production efficiency and product quality but also enhanced the company's market competitiveness.

Ms. Victoria from Style 3D provided insights on redefining the future of fashion. She explained that the integration of AI and 3D technology not only makes the fashion industry more efficient but also promotes the development of personalization and sustainability.


Mr. Victor, General Manager of JACK's Global Strategic Customer Department for China, elaborated on how artificial intelligence can enhance the production efficiency of apparel companies. He stated that JACK Technology focuses on smart manufacturing, and its total solutions have helped garment factories in multiple countries achieve intelligent transformation, becoming benchmarks in their regions. He also showcased JACK's innovative achievements in smart equipment and digitalization, including the highly popular “A.M.H,” “Urus,” and the best-selling M9/M5 template machines.


He emphasized that JACK is committed to leveraging “intelligent manufacturing” to help traditional industries carve out a more innovative and disruptive path. Mr. Kent Teh provided a detailed explanation of lean production in Tesselation. He pointed out that the integration of lean strategies and technology is a key approach for modern enterprises to enhance their competitiveness.

Additionally, Mr. Cai from TST GROUP shared the company's experiences in digital transformation and upgrading, offering a practical reference framework for the participants. This further demonstrated the necessity and effectiveness of digital transformation.


During the roundtable forum, representatives from Decathlon HcMc Office, Viet Long Hung, Fashion Garment Ltd, TMI Elite LT, and Jack engaged in lively discussions on topics such as current consumer trends, diverse fabrics, labor shortages, and industry relocation.

With advancements in digital technology and changes in consumer demand, the apparel industry widely views "diversified, small-scale, and controllable cycle" flexible production as key to transformation. Brand representatives highlighted two major challenges in supply chain management: handling feedback from retail stores and delivery speed. To adapt to market demands, Decathlon is developing a more flexible supply chain and hopes suppliers will adopt a mindset of flexible supply, adjusting production management to meet market needs while maintaining consistency in efficiency and quality.

Manufacturer representatives stated that they will rely on digital transformation to enhance product quality and production efficiency by upgrading hardware and software systems. This approach will help them successfully meet the diverse demands of different brands and products, ensuring that they meet each customer's expectations.
